Prompt.io Inc. is seeking a Director / Head of Product to join our team. The Product Team determines the course, features, and functionality for our platforms. Product team members collaborate with members of the engineering team, customers, and other stakeholders to define, scope and execute on iterations of our platforms.

Prompt.io offers both a full-suite platform for commercial/enterprise use and a peer-to-peer texting platform deployed by organizations of all size and scale to engage and activate their list of supporters, volunteers, and donors. 

What you’ll do:

• Determine the features and functionality that should be built through customer requirements, competitive analysis, and vision for the future of constituent communication
• Join the Leadership team, working closely with the CEO, founders,  VP Business Development, and VP Engineering
• Build concrete and detailed project plans and specifications for the development of features
• Maintain a customer requirement backlog
• Maintain and prioritize the bug database
• Be responsible for UX and UI innovation and consistency
• Be a constant advocate for simplicity in the face of complexity
• Work with QA to vet testing plans for new functionality for completeness and rigor
  
  

What we’re looking for: 

• Minimum 5+ years experience in a product management capacity
• A customer-first mentality
• Strong communication skills, including primary authorship of detailed feature specifications
• Demonstrated ability to ship high quality products on time and budget
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability, bias to action, and comfort in an ever-changing startup environment
• Strong UX and UI background with ability to build wireframes
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a remote-first working environment
• BA/BS Degree required

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
• Experience with JavaScript and HTML
• Familiarity with texting and voice API ecosystems including 10DLC, Campaign Registry, MMS, Twilio / Bandwidth APIs
• Familiarity with AI technologies including sentiment analysis, NLP
• Experience with metered-service type billing models
• Experience with payment and billing systems such as Stripe, M3ter, Avalara
• Working knowledge of React frameworks
• Experience with the AntD design system
• Familiarity and comfort with microservices and cloud computing
